The necessity of decent development and management, allocating facilities, using domestic potentials and knowledge of natural geographical spaces are among the priorities of the country management. Nowadays, planning has been accepted as the most influential tool in facing complex problems and providing key solutions for managing crisis and allocating facilities. This requires a holistic and complete knowledge of the geographic area on one hand, and integrated, synchronic analysis of all influential elements in that area. This knowledge and analysis needs a system which can store all spatial features in an information bank and represent them according to the needs of the planner in the form of map and information tables. Geographic Information System (GIS) has been introduced in the last decades as one the most influential planning tools in collecting, analyzing and representing information visualy. The present article seeks to investigate the status and role of information system in different studies on natural resources and its influences.}, keywords = {Aerial imagery,role of imagery,map,Geographic Information System,GIS,natural resources}, title_fa = {جایگاه سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی (GIS) در مطالعات طبیعی}, abstract_fa = {لزوم توجه به منابع طبیعی بعنوان پایه و اساس توسعه زیربناهای اقتصادی در جوامع در حال توسعه (نظیر کشور ما) در سالهای اخیر بسیار نمایان شده است. ضرورت توسعه و مدیریت شایسته در تخصیص امکانات و استفاده از پتانسیلها و دانش بومی مناطق جغرافیای طبیعی از اولویتهای امور مدیریتی کشور به شمار میروند. امروزه برنامهریزی بعنوان مؤثرترین ابزار مقابله با مشکلات پیچیده و ارائه راهحلهای کلیدی در مدیریت بحران و امر تخصیص امکانات، مورد پذیرش قرار گرفته است. که این امر مستلزم شناخت همه جانبه و کامل از پهنه جغرافیایی مکان مورد بررسی از سویی و تجزیه و تحلیل یکپارچه و همزمان تمامی عوامل مؤثر در آن مکان میباشد. این شناخت و تجزیه و تحلیل نیازمند بکارگیری سیستمی است که بتواند تمامی خصوصیات مکانی را در بانک اطلاعاتی ذخیره نموده و باتوجه به نیاز برنامه ریز، نمایش خاصی از آنها را در قالب نقشه و جدول اطلاعاتی ارائه نمایند. سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی (GIS)1 در جمع آوری، تجزیه و تحلیل و نمایش بصری اطلاعات مورد نیاز در امر برنامهریزی، بعنوان یکی از کارآمدترین ابزار برنامه ریزی در چند دهه اخیر در دنیا مطرح شده است. این مقاله بر آن است که به نقش و جایگاه این سیستم اطلاعاتی در امور مختلف مطالعات منابع طبیعی و تأثیرات آن بر توسعه کشور بپردازد .}, keywords_fa = {تصاویر هوایی,نقش تصاویر,نقشه,سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی,GIS,منابع طبیعی}, url = {https://www.sepehr.org/article_26067.html}, eprint = {https://www.sepehr.org/article_26067_747a8e36f5a433a484256af7f81b486d.pdf} }
