Effective planning and decision-making require access to accurate and updated information. Having updated spatial information and proper application of it is one of the most important topics in the command. A C4I system is composed of several smaller systems that can help military commanders assess the enemy’s information and make better decisions. Geospatial Information System )GIS( can assist commanders in achieving more rational decisions. GIS by modeling the Earth and the effect on Earth will provide a good view of the operating area for military commanders. This article reviews the role and application of Geospatial Information System in development of command and control.Using of new technologies such as mobile Geospatial Information System )Mobile GIS( and web-based Geospatial Information System )WEB GIS(, followed by locating the best places with different functions are GIS capabilities in command and control )C4I(.Thus, using Geospatial Information System capabilities by modeling of the operating area can be reached the highest rates in optimal and valid decisions for command and control.

The environmental crisis of Lake Urmia is considered to be one of the most important environmental, geological, and human dangers of the country. This condition makes it more necessary to study the main processes that influence the level of the water in Lake Urmia so that the suitable directional strategies and plans are applied to stop the decrease in the level of the sea. Taking this into consideration and indicating the impact of natural causes in this crisis’ accession and its augmentation, the study tried to Study the impact of human as well as population variables in this environmental issue. Six significant effective factors in human consumption were chosen to be studied and relating to the official data and statistics, it was found that the consumption patterns, both concerning the people and activities, are in poor condition. In almost all the factors studied, the capitation of water consumption was higher than the average of that value in the country which has resulted in an imbalance in the consumption patterns of the region. Accordingly, it seems essential to develop appropriate plans and strategies to control and manage the consumption patterns in both aspects of population and activities.

Coastal Zones have been one of the most populated areas on the Earth.Nowadays, abut 60 percent of the Population lives in costal zones. In most coastal countries, cities in the coasts have high population density. In respect to the highly populated costal areas and human’s exploitation of their gifts on the one hand, and the fact that 1/3 of world population reside on these areas on the other, the significance of further exploration and examination of these areas comes into figure. It is true abut Iran which has a long coastal line including the Caspian Sea, Sea of Oman and the Persian Gulf. Thus the importance of the various problems caused by different factors, natural and human-created on the coasts, requires the use of new technologies to the integrated management and sustainable develop ment of these areas in line with the system perspective to action. Based on different scopes, different method of are available for the classifications of beaches. Smartline format has been used and refined during 2007-2009 to create a detailed nationally consistent coastal geomorphic )landform( map of Australia, by combining data from over 200 prior map ped data sources. The Coastal Smartline Geomorhic and Stability Map of Australia was compiled in the first instance for use in assessment of Australia’s coastal vulnerability to sea-level rise and climate change by the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change and Geosience Australia. Accordingly, this paper exploits this method for mapping the coastal zones of Iran.

Detection of changes in landuse, including the use of multi-time data set to determine the areas where have been had landuse and land cover change detection in various dates. Applying of remote sensing as a repeatable, commodious and available instrument is one of the newest method in this context. The images are used in this research received from the Landsat sattelite and its ETM sensor in order to investigate landuse changes in Dezful area with special attention to changes in agricultural land between 2002 and 2010. After preprocessing the images and classification to product two Landsue maps of two dates, each of them are collected in grades nine categories and also each landuse class is assigned a code of 1 to 9. In order to compare the nine landuse classes from 2002 to 2010 the LMM )Lanuse Multiplcation Matrix(model is used. Using the matrix elements, as a result of multiplying older landuse map to number by 10 and then sum that to recent map, the conversion rate of landuses to others are determined. The results indicate that in some areas have been converted to agricultural land in favor, but the total area of irrigated agricultural lands are decreasing. The greatest reduction of agricultural land was to wasteland with 3857 hectares. In the next place, there is the waterway with of 2238 hectares.

Therefore, to inform users the full capabilities and limitations of the GIS and RS tools in preparation programs and land management in order to avoid inaccurate assessment will be necessary. This study assessed agricultural land management using GIS and RS tools was conducted in Isfahan. Methods “descriptive” of the quantitative models used. Population of the study, including the city of Isfahan province Be. And finally to provide part of the information needs agricultural sector, estimated level of agricultural lands and preparing map Isfahan province using GIS has been drawn. The results show that, the city of the province in terms of area of agricultural lands were classified in four levels that city (Isfahan), Located in the First level, Naeen, Khomeini Shahr, Lenjan Khansar in the Fourth level and other. Cities are located between these two levels.

Border regions in most countries, especially in developing ones are more low-level in terms of development level in comparison to the central regions. However, progress in globalization processes in recent decades has been resulted to time-space compression and decreasing of dividing role of borders between neighbor countries. This phenomenon has been increased economic relationships between countries and role of non-governmental actors. The border regions in recent decades, also, became cross-border regions and the conflict and tension space have became interaction regions.
Iran and Iraq have appropriate background to expand their commercial and economic interactions and developing of border regions because of many common values between two countries. In recent years and after revolution in Iraq's government structure, specially increasing in autonomous in northern region of that country, the relations and interactions between Baneh county and northern regions of Iraq, has been increased. This research, therefore, poses this fundamental question that which factors have been shaped Baneh Cross-border region flows and what development impacts of this phenomenon are. The aim of this article is to exploring the influential factors and explanations of flows and interactions in Baneh cross-border region by an analytical-descriptive method.
The results show that increasing in commercial interaction and enhancement of security in northern regions of Iraq have more impacts respectively in comparison to other factors. The results also show that impacts of these interactions are economic effects (3.84 score), social-cultural ones (3.61 score), spatial-physical ones (3.04 score) and political effects (2.79 score) respectively.

Subject land and how to use it is always the main topic of urban planning And the ultimate fate of the urban development plans and monitoring of land use determines how the intervention And has always been one of the fundamental issues of social -economic and physical form of the urban contemporary category. Core practice of urban planning, land use planning, which not only expresses the purpose of a community is about land use, but also to give guidance for urban development. Nowadays, because of development of cities and the growing imbalance in the distribution of land, urban land use regulation is of considerable importance. Urban land use and spatial distribution - place them one of the most important functions for optimal use of urban space. The main aim of this research is studing the creation and recognition of existing land use of urban land uses , including residential, commercial, medical , religious , etc. Find and compare with the standard capitation rate for each member of the lack of be specified . In this study , using descriptive - analytical and survey the land has been studied and modeled using SWOT strengths and weaknesses of each of these uses have been studied .
