Places and Structures Urban spots or areas refer to parts of the earth with a population density equal to or more than 300 inhabitants per square kilometer and the average number of buildings of at least one per hectare. This definition covers all small towns and suburbs as well as small and large cities with different shapes, whether adjacent to each other or at distances from one another, which are based on smooth or rough ground.
