چکیده
سیستم What if سیستمی است متعامل که بر پایه نقشه استوار است. این سیستم از اطلاعات GIS که قبلا تهیه گردیده، یا در حال تهیه هستند، استفاده نموده تا زمینه برای آسان تر شدن و تسریع مهمترین، زمان برترین و مشکل ترین جنبه برنامه ریزی زمین فراهم گردد.
ایسن سیستم یک بسته کامل برنامه ای می باشد که وظایف برنامه ریزی را کاهش می دهد و این در حالی است که انجام همین وظایف، به هفته ها و یا حتی ماه ها وقت نیاز دارد تا کامل گردد ولی امور فوق به وسیله این سیستم به سرعت و به آسانی انجام می شود. سیستم فوق به راحتی قابل استفاده بوده و دارای قابلیت کاربردی آسان در راستای موضوعات سیاسی و اطلاعات GIS موجود می باشد و خروجی هایی در قالب گزارش ها و نقشه هایی که به راحتی توسط استفاده کننده قابل فهم باشند را ارائه می نماید.

"What if" is an interactive system based on maps. The system uses GIS information that has been previously prepared, or is being prepared, to provide the ground for ease and acceleration of the most important, time-consuming and difficult aspects of land-use planning.
This system is a complete program package that reduces planning tasks that would require weeks or even months to complete in the past, but can now be carried out by this system quickly and easily. This system is easy to use for political applications and GIS information, and provides outputs in the form of reports and maps easily understood by the user.
